This Privacy Policy (Policy) sets out how Barward Construction Services Pty Ltd ACN 39 630 500 695 trading as Kubby (Kubby, we, our, us) handles personal information and acknowledges Kubby’s obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act).
Other policies may apply instead of, or in addition to, this Policy in certain circumstances. We will let you know if that is the case.
Please note that in some circumstances, there are exemptions or exceptions to the Privacy Act that may apply to Kubby, including in relation to the handling of employment related personal information. If you are a customer of our business and user of our Kubby web application, we may also collect information about the services you use, any project you commence, your financial situation and other relevant information as permitted or required by law.
If you are an independent professional contractor engaged to provide services to customers through our platform, we may collect details about your qualifications, work experience, insurance coverage, bank account details, trade union memberships or associations and other details relevant to your provision of services.
We may also collect personal information about the contractors, suppliers and employees that we engage, and deal with in relation to the provision of our services.
We may collect your personal information in a variety of ways, such as in person, by telephone, by email and by other electronic means (such as through our platform when you use our services). Where practicable, we collect your personal information directly from you.
